Prevention for youth

Currently, 40% of new HIV infections occur among youth aged 15 to 24. STOP AIDS NOW! is concerned about the fact that evidence-informed prevention policies and programmes are not common practice. We focus on improved quality of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) education and HIV prevention for youth.

Treatment as Prevention offers people living with HIV healthier and longer lives, and contributes to the reduction of the spread of HIV. The approach, used within STOP AIDS NOW!’s MaxArt programme in Swaziland, is expected to catalyse a breakthrough.
