The expert meeting will be placed in the mainstream international context of (UN) Agencies and Governments, which have spoken out on HIV & AIDS policies and the way in which children are affected and require care. Reference will be made to ‘the framework on OVC, accompanying papers and strategies developed. The meeting would also like to benefit from and build on work done by the Joint Learning Initiative on Children & AIDS.
Expected participants are: development practitioners, policymakers, donor organisations, researchers.
