The 18th International AIDS Conference is coming up. If you are attending the conference, we invite you to visit the STOP AIDS NOW! booth and enjoy a wide range of inspiring and interactive activities. STOP AIDS NOW! will have a Networking Zone in the Global Village (booth 809). We lead a skills-building workshop on Managing HIV in the workplace and have poster presentations.
In the STOP AIDS NOW! booth 809 in the Global Village we will mix information with fun. Visit our Networking Zone and enjoy a wide range of inspiring and interactive activities. We invite you to share knowledge and expertise, to learn, network and collaborate on a diverse range of issues.
The Power of Practice Over thirty local organisations from Asia, Latin America and Africa provide sessions on:
- life skills and HIV prevention for youth
- gender, women empowerment, sexuality and HIV
- networks of care and support
- human rights and reduction of stigma and discrimination
- greater involvement of people living with HIV.
Meet, Share, Learn, Interact & Get Inspired! The sessions are all about practical knowledge. We share concrete tools and products, and use liberal arts, role play, discussions and ICT and multimedia to boost creativity and interactivity! Need a time-out from the conference madness? Re-energise yourself at our beauty salon. While you are being pampered by a massage or beauty treatment, you will hear the latest ins and outs of HIV and sexuality issues. We want to create an environment where organisations can learn and connect in ways that enhance future work, so we stimulate networking. Meet others while enjoying a refreshment during our get-together on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. We are looking forward to meet you!
The conference buzz lives on! Visit: www.stopaidsnow.org/Vienna for news, session summaries and pictures.
