Funders invest heavily in development programmes, but typically pay little attention to how HIV affects implementing organisations. This workshop shows how funders can protect their investment by supporting their partners to manage HIV in the workplace, and so maintain their ability to deliver programmes.
Using evidence from the STOP AIDS NOW! Good Donorship project and support to CSOs in Uganda, Ethiopia and India, participants will:
- see how investing time and money in managing HIV is cost-effective
- discuss what prevents donors from investing in their partners
- discover how to apply the lessons learnt and protect their investments.

We will share experiences, learning and remaining challenges. The audience will be invited to ask questions. The workshop will be interactive with a panel discussion (to which the audience can be invited), presentations, problem solving, games, and the launch of the STOP AIDS NOW! CSO guide to managing HIV.
