- Networks of Care
Goal: Improved well being of children living in communities affected by HIV/AIDS.
Objective: To strengthen the capacity of participating partners to impact positively on the well being of children in the context of the AIDS pandemic and distil lessons that can be transferred beyond the intervention.
- 4Life Skills
Goal: Improved SRHR/HIV-prevention programmes for young people and through that increased possibilities for young people to protect themselves against HIV/AIDS.
Objective: Develop an understanding of evaluability and baseline research; and promoting an enabling environment for Life Skills education through engaging with parents and caregivers.
- 4Life Facilitators
Goal: Improved support for children and young people affected by HIV/AIDS by youth facilitators.
Objective: Joint development of mechanisms for support, development and provision of accredited training of “4-life Facilitators” within the SAN! Partnership.
- Meaningful Participation
Goal: More effective care, support and prevention programmes for young people and children affected by HIV/AIDS by improved participation of children and young people in programmes for them.
Objective: Participating partners involve young people and children in planning, implementation and M&E of their projects.
Planned results of the Joint Learning Project:
- Joint learning project documentation will describe how each participating organisation has strengthened their work with OVC through one or more of the learning tracks with input from target populations
- Joint learning process documentation will describe the joint learning within each learning track, the links established between the tracks and use of the outcomes in the wider setting of South Africa
