Addressing HIV and AIDS in the workplace
- Lessons Learnt from CSOs and Donors
STOP AIDS NOW! and its partners have been investing in stimulating workplace responses among CSOs to HIV and AIDS for a number of years now. This report summarises our lessons learnt. Our intention with the report is to provide an efficient way for many people to learn from others’ experiences, and so to improve responses to HIV and AIDS in the workplace.

HIV in the workplace: 20 ways for INGOs to help partners
This publication shows some good examples of responses to HIV and AIDS in the workplace. It presents ways in which other international agencies have encouraged local partners to manage HIV and AIDS in their workplace. It is not a thorough cost-benefit evaluation of every action. But instead, provides illustrative examples of what can be done, with links for anyone who would like to find out more.
Donors and NGOs working together to address HIV and AIDS in the workplace
On 23-24 January STOP AIDS NOW! organised a conference on “Managing HIV and AIDS in the workplace”. The conference was a big success.
This report sets out the participants’ main conclusions and recommendations and is followed, with an outline of each of the presentations, workshops and the closing debate. All conference materials are also available on-line.
