The Malawi Human Rights Resource Centre was established in 1996 and operated under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Malawi Government prior to being registered under the Trustees Incorporation Act in 2000. MHRRCs primary purpose is strengthening the capacity of human rights civil society organisations throughout Malawi.
