Meet Pimmy Muzyamba, he is the track coordinator on Strengthening Systems within the HIV prevention project on Life Skills, quality and scale in Zambia.
Pimmy works as a Programmes Officer at CHEP and is in-charge of all Child Focussed programmes. He lives in Zambia in the Copperbelt province in Kitwe town and has a very busy live, as he has 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls.
What do you expect of your role within the HIV prevention project on quality and scale? The project will help me see things from a different perspective in dealing with HIV/AIDS issues especially when it comes to issues of Life-Skills. It might be a challenging project but with my vast experience and the support and experience from my colleagues in the track of Capacity Strengthening, I believe we can be successful. I very much believe in team work and I think together we will be a catalyst to many institutions implementing Life-skills programmes especially in Zambia.
What do you hope to learn from this project? Personally I hope to gain practical experience and knowledge. The skills will help CHEP improve on its deliverables especially in the area of Life-Skills.
What makes this project of interest for you? It is very practical and Relevant! This project is Timely.
Anything else you would like to share? Many thanks to STOP AIDS NOW! (5 Donors) for supporting this noble cause. You don’t know how many young people you'll be assisting in defining the goals and experiences.
