The STOP AIDS NOW! Project Office in Ethiopia will facilitate the capacity development process of organizations through closely working with them and together understanding the process at deeper level.
The project employs different steps including:
- Coordination and management of the project interventions
- Identification and use of technical expertise in and outside Ethiopia
- Assessment of the HIV and AIDS competency and organizational situation among participating organizations in order to identify; (I) at what HIV and AIDS competency stage the organizations are, and (II) the specific capacity building needs of organizations
- Facilitating processes of capacity development in the area of HIV and AIDS workplace policy development and implementation
- Follow-up the internal mainstreaming activities of organizations and provision of advisory services
- Networking, lobbying, advocacy and joint resource mobilization
- Documentation of best practices, lessons learned and research outcomes
